Employment Overview

Hope School is a young, growing international Christian school.

The mission of Hope is to support world missions by providing quality, Christ-centered educational services for families of international Christian workers in Cambodia and surrounding countries. We have a campus in Phnom Penh and a campus in Siem Reap.

The School employs a Director who oversees the operations of both campuses. Our Phnom Penh campus has a High School Principal, Middle School Principal and Primary Principal as well as teaching staff, teaching assistants, office and auxiliary staff. Our Siem Reap campus has a Principal working alongside teaching staff, and office and auxiliary staff.

The School is English speaking, as such all teaching staff are English speakers and qualified in their home country. Staff are employed on a contract basis with a preference for a two year or longer commitment. Shorter term vacancies do however occur on occasion. Staff are actively encouraged to become part of the school community and to extend their contract.

Teaching staff should profess the Christian faith and:

  • be passionate about Jesus and teaching.
  • have a strong desire to do God's will and live a 'Christ-filled life'.
  • have a strong love and commitment to children, desiring the best for them, both academically and spiritually.
  • aim to bring diverse professional and life skills with them to enrich and build on the quality of the school.

Do you:

  • actively practise the Christian faith and have a servant heart?
  • sense that God is calling you, possibly out of your comfort zone, to serve Him?
  • have an adventurous spirit, sense of humour, adaptable attitude and a strong interest in living in a developing country?
  • hold formal teaching qualifications from a university or college?
  • love teaching?
  • believe that teachers are missionaries too?
  • speak English fluently?
